While most of my clients request Instagram assistance, I’m also very comfortable on TikTok, Threads, Bluesky, and X. I work with Jonah Gottlieb, Councilmember Lunaparra’s Chief of Staff, to run an educational, eye-catching, and accessible Instagram! Our office represents a majority-student district, so much of our content centers on making complicated Council issues feel relevant and understandable for busy students. Issue Post for Jenny Guarino for Berkeley City Council
I love making issue posts accessible and easy to read for the average viewer — without losing nuance or identity. The bright and colorful flowers in this post mirror Jenny’s gregarious personality, while the bullet points help break down complicated policies. My background in Political Science helps me understand and communicate issues with ease — and that last slide is beautifully repostable, helping you grow your audience!
5-Year Strategic Plan Post for Central Coast Alliance United for a Sustainable Economy
For this 5-year strategy piece, I wanted to break down a variety of complex issues in a easy-to-read way. CAUSE also has a wonderful media bank and I thrilled to have access to beautiful art and photos. For the title slide, I seamlessly expanded a hand-drawn piece of art to include larger rays and space for a title (no AI involved!). The final product really captured the many facets and overall spirit of CAUSE, and it did remarkably well in the algorithm.
Introduction Posts for City Council Candidates
I love helping people create brand identities that embrace your unique style and cater to your specific audience! Cecilia began running for the Berkeley City Council while an undergraduate at Cal. I knew we needed a style that showcased her student perspective and appealed to the majority-student, politically progressive district while remaining professional. I paired Cecilia’s long history of activism with a professional photo, showing her duality and values. For Jenny, I wanted to highlight her hardworking and down-to-earth nature. In a district that reported feeling ignored by their councilmember, showing a candidate in casual clothes going door-to-door captured the heart of what our campaign was fighting for.
Eras Tour Post for Cecilia Lunaparra for City Council
Cecelia and I are both huge Taylor Swift fans, so we knew we wanted to make a post for the end of the American leg of the groundbreaking Eras tour. I combined a variety of pictures from before and during the campaign to mirror the expression of each Taylor era. The post was incredibly popular and to this day is one of my most-complimented by my peers! I love working on posts that help convey your unique interests and personality, and I’m always in tune with relevant pop culture trends.
Response Post for Soli Alpert for City Council
Reel for CAUSE’s Oxnard Environmental Health Campaign
I love video editing, whether it’s a short film or a TikTok. With a background in film production, I’m proficient in cinematography, audio editing, and video editing!
After an out-of town mailer made disgusting attacks on Soli, I worked with the campaign team to create a post that addressed the severity of the issue without attacking other candidates. I’m proud that the post incorporates a variety of tones without losing Soli’s campaign identity or upbeat spirit. I work well under pressure, and I’ll always be on-call for urgent responses!
